NEXUS AGENDA
NEXUS Agenda has the ambition to promote an Agenda around logistics and transport networks, focused on innovating, developing, demonstrating and initiating the valorization and exploration of products and services, with strong export potential, and which address the main challenges and gaps identified in logistics.
The NEXUS Agenda will create an ecosystem of 31 products and services for the Green and Digital Transition in the transport and logistics sectors. At the center of this ecosystem, the core product, is the NEXUS OPEN DATA COLLABORATION PLATAFORM, comprising a set of applications and services.
Each of these products will have its digital representation (digital twin), aimed at sharing and receiving data, aimed at improving the performance of operations.

Within the scope of the Nexus Agenda Innovation Pact, under the Portuguese RRP, the presented NEXUS International Conference aims to exchange advances, research and trends in the areas of digital logistics and sustainable mobility in seaports, crucial for the development of an increasingly efficient and competitive port activity.
Throughout the Conference, the main results of the NEXUS Project will be presented, and the latest trends, technologies and strategies that are revolutionising the way port infrastructures are operated and managed will be explored.
Digital logistics provides the tools to optimize processes, reduce costs and improve the traceability of goods. From warehouse automation to intelligent management of terminals, gates and containers, digitalization is transforming the supply chain and enabling greater agility in ports. On the other hand, sustainable mobility and the green transition have become an unavoidable priority. The electrification of ports, the energy transition, fuel substitution and emission reductions are essential to ensure a cleaner and more resilient future.
This conference was funded by the PRR – Recovery and Resilience Plan, through the scope of the Agenda for Business Innovation “NEXUS: Pacto de Inovação, Transição Verde e Digital para Transportes, Logística e Mobilidade” (Project no. 53 with the application C645112083-00000059).
